Meet the all-girl kids band from The Bay Area:
SISTERS KEEPER

Meet Sisters Keeper, an all-girl band of spunky musicians from Oakland, CA.  There is no lip-syncing or overblown stage production or sexed up, inappropriate image manipulation here.  These girls can play.  And I don't mean play 'for their age'.

In July of 2014 they took 1st place in Marshawn Lynch's Fam 1st Family Foundation's talent contest.  I saw footage these young start ups playing, of all things, Frankie Beverly & Maze's "Before I Let Go" and KILLING it!  It's crazy to see the little bass player playing a instrument that's literally bigger than her.  Everyone in the band holds their own.

Founder, manager and producer Donte Franklin, Sr. is doing amazing things in developing this group into a music force.  Donte is a drummer himself so he knows instrumentation and he is creating a lane for Sisters Keeper to make their mark.

In November, Sisters Keeper launched their GoFundMe campaign to raise money for their endeavors  They need to acquire better band equipment, stage gear, travel and whatever nmay come up.

In November, Sisters Keeper launched their GoFundMe campaign to raise money for their endeavors.  They need funding for their own P.A. system, for travel, wardrobe and to acquire better band instruments

Sisters Keeper smashing the stage with a cover of Frankie Beverly & Maze's "Before I Let Go".  I've heard adults that couldn't get this joint as tight as these girls.

Donte and the girls are taking their fundraising into their own hands and have created hoodies for sale to their families and fans to buy and  help promote and raise money.  Get yours, I'm gonna get mine!!

Donte Franklin, Sr. and Sisters Keeper Band are both on Facebook and YouTube.  Be sure to check them out and support 'em because they are something to be proud of!!
