Tonya Nicole was featured in the AUTHORS section in June of 2015. Later that year, this freelance writer and free spirit left the U.S. behind and embarked on seeing the world. First top... Asia.

Tanese was featured in the very first issue of PBI in the BLACK EDUCATORS column. Unfortunately we said goodbye to Tanese in 2015. A beautiful soul and the nicest person I never met. Rest in paradise.

Rodney was featured in the Nov. 2014 issue of PBI in the BLACK EDUCATORS section. He has gone on to earn his Masters in Business and Masters in Education. He continues to teach in Missouri City, TX.

Pullum continues his seemingly tireless work for kids and the community through the Fernando Pullum Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles. He also added Don Cheadle to his list of music students as he trained\taught Don the trumpet in preparation for Don's role as Miles Davis. Don Cheadle ACTUALLY PLAYS trumpet now. Another milestone in a stellar career.

Natalyn continues to build the Black Business Women Rock brand in Los Angeles, hosting the annual BBWR conference and many empowerment events for women of color.

Since appearing in a series of Black Chick Tees ads as a high school sophomore, Ashton earned an academic scholarship to Howard University!! This fall, Ashton will be a college freshman.

Brittney released a new book "Beat Faces and Broken Spirits" in February 2016 and is currently freelance writing and blogging. Ms. Reel has expanded her business to include helping new authors create and publish books independently. She is also the source of several empowerment campaigns through her brand at brittneyreel.com

Gwen has continued to inspire her young students in Houston, TX and was just named '2016 Teacher of The Year' in her school district. Awesome job Gwen!!
