Giving Roses Where Roses Are Due

PBI’s existence.  If she asked for what she’s worth I’m sure I couldn’t afford her.  J  She is a student of academics and life and her work attests to both.  She is a volunteer in her community and super family oriented.  I know, because I know her family first hand.

 

This is just one of those appreciation posts, kinda like we do for a pastor or a deacon board member in church.  Keep doing what you’re doing K Dot Crawford, whether Positive Black Images ceases to exist or not.  You don’t know it but a few months in the last year you’ve helped me stay focused on the fact that we’re creating something good.  I appreciate you.

 

I know you don’t want your photo posted so I’ll respect that but thank you, thank you, thank you.

I’ll keep it short and sweet this month….

 

I’m a firm believer in giving loved ones their roses while they are above ground.  In the spirit of that premise, I’d like to shout out my friend that I call the Lens Crafter, photographer Karesha Crawford.  She wasn’t expecting this and had no idea that I was contemplating this but.. it is what it is.

 

Karesha is a budding photographer that likes to stay behind the scenes while delivering her vision through her camera.  What she doesn’t know is that she helps hold me to a standard of excellence when I feel like Positive Black Images is getting overwhelming.  Her photographic talent is pretty obvious but she does little things that she doesn’t tout that let’s me know she’s good people.  Karesha has never been paid for a single photo spread that she has done in the year of
